Another one of James Patterson’s thrillers. Set in the year 2061, its basis is our love for our ‘toys’ (i.e. cell phones, video games, HDTVs … you get the picture) and our federal government who takes advantage of our vices and their self-proclaimed ‘Elitism’. Similar to the books 1984, A Brave New World and Glenn Beck’s current thriller The Overton Window (if you’ve read any of these). A thriller to make you wonder … could this really happen? Oh yes it could …maybe not in exactly the way it does in these books but very possible if we don’t pay attention. A movie based on this novel is in the works. Definitely a great read!!!
